Coutts appoints Matthew Spencer as head of intermediaries, UK business development
Matthew Spencer has been appointed as executive director, head of intermediaries, within Coutts’ UK business development team, with immediate effect.
Spencer will be based in London and is responsible for all business development activity via intermediaries, to include lawyers, accountants, IFAs, consulting firms and mortgage brokers.
In his previous role at Credit Suisse Private Bank, Spencer was director, head of intermediaries with responsibility for intermediary strategy and implementation for the UK, Channel Islands, Switzerland, South Africa, Israel, Gibraltar, Nordic and Netherlands.
Prior to this, Spencer was at Jupiter Asset Management, where he was director, head of private client & charities marketing responsible for all new business generation and advertising.
Spencer will report to Sarah Wyse, head of UK business development.
