Eric McMullen named executive vice president for First American Trust
First American Trust has appointed Eric R McMullen to the position of executive vice president and chief fiduciary officer.
McMullen (pictured), who has more than two decades of wealth management and investment service experience, will oversee the company's wealth management and trust activities.
He will also help to lead First American Trust's growth efforts as the company begins to expand its presence in the West.
"I am excited to join this high-calibre, principled company that is one of the most respected financial services firms in Southern California," says McMullen. "For more than 50 years, First American Trust has earned its solid reputation by providing clients with objective financial advice and solutions. Overseeing a multifaceted growth campaign will be exciting and rewarding, and I look forward to seeing significant results as we begin our expansion in the West early this year."
"We are delighted to have Eric join our team in this key leadership position, helping us build upon our solid foundation," says Kelly Dudley, president of First American Trust. "With his experience and skill set, Eric is the perfect addition to our company. He is passionate about multi-generational wealth and asset protection, and shares our philosophy of always putting our client first."
Prior to joining First American Trust, McMullen served in various executive management roles in the financial services sector, primarily in the Midwest. He has held positions as managing director of the trust and wealth management division of a publicly traded bank in Chicago, and was formerly the president of a Midwest-based broker-dealer. McMullen has also led the fixed income department at one of the largest financial institutions in the US.
