Legend Advisory Corporation launches wealth management platform
Legend Advisory Corporation has launched a wealth management platform for its financial advisers.
The Guided Portfolio Solutions (GPS) platform is designed to provide financial advisers a streamlined approach to conducting fee-based investment management, from the client proposal, through account implementation, trading, performance reporting and ongoing support.
The open-architecture system helps advisers simplify and increase the efficiency of their advisory business.
GPS first debuted at Legend’s sister firm, First Allied Securities.
“Being affiliated with First Allied has allowed us to leverage and integrate various comprehensive and successful platforms such as GPS,” says Vere Reynolds-Hale, national sales manager of The Legend Group. “Providing our advisers with a customised advisory platform now allows them to offer a fully integrated solution with enhanced capabilities and a broad selection of money managers for their clients. We are committed to the growth of our advisers’ businesses, and this is just another example of us providing the tools for them to achieve this.”
Through GPS, advisers at Legend can help clients tailor their investment plans based on individual risk tolerances, goals and objectives in a consistent manner, across all investment products residing on the platform. GPS leverages a variety of asset management firms and strategies to allow customisation at both the product and client levels. Advisers can use an intuitive Web interface to generate client proposals based on their individual client needs. Additionally, the same interface allows for consolidated performance reporting across all accounts into a single deliverable for each and every client.
Legend Advisory Corporation announced the debut of a new product, the Absolute Return Portfolio, at the launch of GPS. The Absolute Return Portfolio, available on the GPS platform, allows for a wider universe of asset classes without fixed asset weightings of traditional asset allocation approaches. This progressive strategy may be a valuable tool for investors to complement a traditional asset allocation portfolio.
