Crestbridge appoints Luxembourg director to grow corporate services business

Funds, corporate and family office firm Crestbridge has appointed Yves Cheret as director of its Luxembourg office to manage, lead and develop the company’s corporate services unit.

In his new role, Cheret (pictured) will form part of Crestbridge’s senior management team in Luxembourg, taking on responsibility for the day to day management of the office, making sure clients meet regulatory requirements and ensuring a high quality of service to clients.
In particular, Cheret will take a lead on developing Crestbridge’s domiciliation, administration and company secretarial services within its corporate services business.
A chartered accountant with more than 14 years’ experience in director roles including business development and particular expertise in private equity and real estate, Cheret joins Crestbridge from corporate and fund services provider Alter Domus. He has held numerous director mandates, worked extensively with both regulated and non-regulated entities and has a sound knowledge of key regulatory issues such as AIFMD.
Cheret says: “I am delighted to be joining Crestbridge, which has grown rapidly over the past few years. I hope that, by drawing on the synergies between our Luxembourg and Jersey offices, we can continue to grow our business in Luxembourg over the coming years. It is important that clients know we work as a team and that we are always available and ready to react when necessary.”
Daniela Klasén-Martin, managing director and country head for Crestbridge’s operation in Luxembourg, says: “We are delighted to welcome Yves to the Crestbridge team. His in-depth knowledge of the industry and regulatory environment will be invaluable to the business and to our clients as we continue to build our presence in Luxembourg. Yves’ appointment adds to the depth of experience we can offer our clients and will bring new insights and understanding to support their increasingly sophisticated needs.”
