Montreux Care Home Fund receives GBP6m investment from City of London institution
Montreux Capital Management’s Care Home Fund has received a GBP6m investment as it approaches its third anniversary.
This comes on the back of the introduction of the distribution share class offering an annual yield of 7.5 per cent.
Launched in July 2011, the Montreux Care Home Fund has provided a financial solution for care homes serving the needs of the rapidly ageing population in the UK, investing in elderly healthcare facilities where a supply/demand imbalance has been identified.
Montreux is the only care home fund that also manages the operations in-house across its portfolio of residential properties.
Oliver Harris, managing partner of Montreux Capital, says: “It is a real testament to the model we have built that, at this relatively early juncture in the fund’s cycle, we have received such a significant investment from such a well-respected fund manager. We anticipate that this could precipitate further institutional placements into the fund, which will only serve to make the fund even more successful than it has been to date.”
