Invesco Perpetual appoints three to UK equities team
Invesco Perpetual has made three appointments to its UK equities team.
John Richards has joined the company as UK equities product director and Frederick Bouverat has joined as UK equities investment analyst.
Hilary Cook, who has been with the company since 2011, has been appointed UK equities product director.

Richards has responsibility for communicating Invesco Perpetual’s UK equities investment capabilities internally and externally. He began his investment career in 1983 at Mercury Asset Management where he became head of investment for UK institutions. He then co-founded and held the position of CIO at Société Générale Asset Management UK in 1997. After leaving Société Générale in 2007, Richards developed a hotel and restaurant business in France.
Cook is also responsible for communicating Invesco Perpetual’s UK equities investment capabilities internally and externally. Cook began her investment career in 1983 and worked for Scottish Provident, Wood MacKenzie, Robert Fleming and UBS before moving to Barclays in 1991, where she was head of research for Barclays Stockbrokers prior to becoming director of investment strategy for Barclays Wealth. Cook joined Invesco Perpetual in 2011 and previously was product manager within the marketing department covering UK equities.
Bouverat has specific responsibility for unquoted investments. He started his investment career in 2009 with Numis Securities in London, where he became an associate director in equity sales with a focus on technology and biotech companies. He joined Invesco Perpetual in February 2014.
