AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has made appointments to its Core Investments leadership team. Core Investments brings together the Fixed Income, Framlington Equities and Multi-Asset platforms at AXA IM.
The appointments, which are effective immediately, have been made to drive investment process enhancements and deliver on growth ambitions. They will accelerate collaboration and innovation between the platforms, as well as further embedding Research and Quant Lab insights into portfolio decisions.
Chris Iggo has been appointed Chief Investment Officer for Core Investments. He will lead the Core Investments “virtual” investment institute which will bring together the insights of the Research, Quant Lab and Responsible Investment teams for the benefit of all portfolio managers across asset classes.
Marion Le Morhedec has been appointed Head of Active Fixed Income Europe & Asia. Marion will be responsible for building a strategy to accelerate AXA IM’s footprint in this key business area.
Serge Pizem has been appointed Head of Multi-Asset, leading all the investment teams of Multi-Asset. In his new role, he will still manage the Optimal Income range. Serge’s experience and well-recognised expertise will help AXA IM further strengthen its position in this highly requested and differentiating capability.
Laurent Clavel is appointed Head of the Quant Lab, that has been set up to foster innovation, focusing on quantitative research, portfolio engineering, product engineering and structuring.
