Quilter Cheviot appoints head of Salisbury office

Quilter Cheviot has appointed Tom Almond as Head of the firm's Salisbury office taking over from Richard Firth who will remain with the business, continuing to look after his clients.

Both Almond and Firth were founding members of the Salisbury office when it opened in 2010 with five staff; the team has since grown to 19.

Almond says: “Richard and I have worked closely together for over 10 years, both helping to set up Quilter Cheviot’s Salisbury office in 2010. Richard has led our team admirably in recent years and I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue to build on our work with private clients and the local professional community to further grow our business in the South.”
Quilter Cheviot’s Head of Regional Offices, Richard Thorn, adds: “After three successful years leading our Salisbury team, I would like to thank Richard for the significant contribution he has made to the office and the wider business. Tom was the outstanding candidate to take over and I would like to congratulate him on his appointment, and wish him every success for the future.”
