IWP appoints Chief Risk Officer
Independent Wealth Planners UK (IWP UK) has appointed Les Cantlay to its Executive team as Chief Risk Officer.
Les will lead the IWP risk and compliance function, providing strategic advice to the group to help teams manage risk, improve control effectiveness, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Les brings a wealth of expertise to IWP with over 40 years’ experience in financial services across corporate governance, strategy, business development, and risk and compliance. Les has had a long career in advising Financial Services Institutions and previously held roles as Head of Legal, Compliance, Company Secretary and Chief Risk Officer for a UK Bank. Previous to this appointment Les was a Non-Executive Director at IWP bringing his expert perspective to regulation and risk matters.
