PortfolioMetrix UK expands board and hires digital marketing head

Investment manager PortfolioMetrix has appointed Claire Van Den Houten to the UK board of directors and recruited Caribe Breese to the newly created role of UK Head of Digital Marketing.

Van Den Houten has been leading the UK partner relationship team since 2016, having transferred from a similar role with PortfolioMetrix in South Africa. Passionate about designing solutions for the challenges that advisers and their teams face, Claire's hands-on experience within PortfolioMetrix is backed by global insights of the financial planning process.

Ben Peele, PortfolioMetrix's UK MD, says: "Claire takes a highly collaborative approach to client service and ensures that our partners feel encouraged and supported at all times. Her team has won multiple industry awards for client service which is a testament to what she has built. Claire's skills and knowledge make her a vital member of the team. Caribe joined PortfolioMetrix in March 2021 to lead UK marketing activity.
In recent years, Caribe's experience has involved marketing roles with financial services and software companies such as ISI Markets and Quacquarelli Symonds, where she helped to scale marketing teams, streamline marketing processes and optimise digital strategies.

Peele says: "Caribe has a proven track record over a 10-year career in marketing and brings an astute mix of marketing knowledge, organisational skills and forward thinking to this newly created role. Working with our broader global marketing team, Caribe will focus on the specific requirements of the UK business and how we communicate with our stakeholders and prospective clients.
