Tyson Fury launches world's first boxing NFT on Fomolab.io

Tyson Fury

Two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is looking to deliver a knockout blow in the NFT space with the launch of a premium collection of items including playing cards and memorabilia.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are unique, blockchain-based digital tokens that can be used to commodify digital creations, such as digital art, video game items, and music files.

Fury, who is perhaps as famous for winning personal battles against depression and drug addiction as he is for his exploits in the ring, is starting with an exclusive one of a kind NFT artwork which is digitally signed by the 'Gypsy King'.

The artwork is by Wakefield-born George Rollo (23), who has previously created works for Drake’s Octobers Very Own label, rapper Tyga, which were featured in his music videos, and 50 Cent. Rollo now resides in Dubai, where he regularly stages exhibitions, shows, and live performances, and has created paintings for royalty.

The first NFT in the Tyson Fury collection will be coming to auction within the next two weeks with the winning bidder receiving the digital work as well as the original created by Rollo, plus an exclusive video of Fury adding his signature.
