A leading player in online investing in Europe, XTB is accelerating its development in France. After a 2025 marked by the launch of its commission-free PEA, a multi-currency bank card, and new features, the broker shows strengthened ambitions for 2026.
In this exclusive interview granted to Café de la Bourse, Daniel Gravier, France Director of XTB, details the group’s strategy and the upcoming evolutions of the platform, notably the introduction of options, cryptocurrencies and the integration of TradingView.
He also shares his market analysis, his review of the past stock market year, and his advice for investing in the stock market in 2026, in a context where market accessibility has never been as strong.
Daniel Gravier, how would you present XTB’s offer to individual investors?
For those who have not yet learned about XTB, it is an investment app that allows anyone to manage their money autonomously. It provides access to different financial markets through solutions such as the Ordinary Securities Account, the PEA, or, for the more experienced investors, CFDs.
Our objective is to make investing accessible to as many people as possible, because today more than ever, it is essential to grow your savings.
2025 has been rich in innovations for XTB, what assessment do you draw?
The diversification of our products is a major axis of our development, and 2025 has been marked by numerous launches of which we are particularly proud.
This momentum began in January with the launch of the eWallet, integrating a multi-currency bank card as well as a cashback system in step with your spending.
By the end of the first quarter, we crossed a key milestone with what is arguably the most important launch for XTB France: our XTB PEA. This Plan d’Épargne en Actions, a 100% French product, fully fits within our growth strategy and our acceleration of our presence on the national territory.
Offered with 0% commission, up to €100,000 invested per month, our PEA aims to become the most competitive offer on the market.
The year was also marked by our “Free Share” offer. On two occasions, at the end of summer and at the beginning of winter, we offered a free share for every new account opened.
You’ve guessed it, our ambition is strong: after 15 years of presence in France, 2025 has been the year of acceleration. And for 2026, we plan to maintain this pace… and go even further.
What new features does XTB have planned for 2026?
We want to enable as many people as possible to invest and grow their money. In this spirit, and in continuation of 2025, new products and features will come to life in 2026.
At the same time, we place particular importance on the user experience, so that it is ever simpler, more intuitive and more efficient.
With more than 2 million clients reached by the end of 2025 within XTB, this step is only the beginning, and 2026 looks particularly exciting.
Options, Cryptocurrencies, access to the TradingView charting universe: so many new features awaiting our clients and future clients in 2026.
What do you take away from the 2025 stock market year?
As you will have understood, 2025 was particularly dynamic in terms of products and offers. On the market side, despite some tremors, the level of volatility, often synonymous with investment opportunities for our clients, remained relatively moderate.
The year was also marked by a large-scale marketing campaign conducted with our brand ambassador, Zlatan Ibrahimović. A strategy fully coherent with our ambition: to become the leading investment app in Europe.
What advice would you give to an individual looking to start investing in the stock market in 2026?
To begin with, I won’t give advice per se, but rather I’ll make an observation: “you should have started earlier.”
Why am I saying this? Simply because money that isn’t invested loses value over time, at a rate that depends on the level of inflation.
Investing helps you keep control of your money, of course while taking into account your personal financial situation. Today, opportunities and financial products are plentiful.
If you are just starting out, take the time to understand the mechanisms: you will see that investing in the stock market isn’t that complex after all. It is also about becoming the full owner of a stake in a company, a business that speaks to you and that you understand.
Beyond stocks, the excitement around ETFs or cryptocurrencies illustrates the diversity of opportunities available to investors. Opportunities exist, but it is essential to steer towards markets and assets you master, in order to stay fully in control of your choices.
Investing in the stock market follows the same logic as a real estate project: you don’t choose a property at random. You analyze, you compare and you progress step by step. The same goes for financial markets: define your objectives, identify the markets or companies that interest you, and progress gradually.
It is often said that, over the last 40 years, the most profitable investment has been that made on equity markets, with reinvested dividends. France today counts nearly 7 million PEA accounts. These two elements attest to both the attractiveness of the stock market and the growing interest of the French in investing.
So, if you haven’t yet taken the plunge, 2026 could be your year. Provided you act with rationality, pragmatism and always… step by step.
