Trump Discloses 1,156 Asset Transactions, Including Microsoft and Amazon Shares

23 September 2026

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, disclosed his investment statement with more than 1,100 securities transactions. The transactions included, for example, sales of up to US$ 25 million in Microsoft and Amazon shares, respectively.

In reviewing the document, CNBC’s report found 1,156 purchases and sales totaling about US$ 79 million and US$ 270 million, respectively.

CNBC’s tally shows that purchases totaled at least US$ 43.6 million, while sales totaled at least US$ 35.6 million. It appears the president was undergoing a broad portfolio reorganization.

The largest transactions were the sales of Microsoft and Amazon shares, conducted on 20 July. The amounts ranged from US$ 5 million to US$ 25 million, for each.

The records for 20 July also show sales of Oracle between US$ 1 million and US$ 5 million. The president also declared purchases including between US$ 500,001 and US$ 1 million in NVIDIA products.

Trades During the Second Term

According to the report, even though the document shows activities in the name of the U.S. president, the large fluctuations in value do not make Trump’s exact holdings clear.

In June, Trump disclosed 1,051 transactions totaling between US$ 78.1 million and US$ 263.1 million, including purchases and sales of stocks, bonds, and ETFs.

According to the text, the president’s second term has been marked by intense trading. For comparison, during his first year in office, in 2017, Trump carried out 86 disclosed stock transactions.

The annual financial disclosure for the year 2025 showed more than 21,000 securities transactions across eight accounts. In total, about US$ 858 million traded.
