Which US stocks to buy in late 2026? How Café de la Bourse identified the most promising American stocks?
For this selection of the most promising American stocks by the end of 2026, we limited ourselves to the components of the Dow Jones 30. We then took into account long-term yield criteria as well as the stability of the stock.
To do this, we examined the Max Drawdown of each stock. As a reminder, the Drawdown helps determine the maximum loss recorded by a stock portfolio or a financial asset over a given period. Thus, this indicator measures the risk taken by the investor to generate a return, and consequently is a means of assessing the quality of their strategy. In our selection, we favored stocks that had the smallest amplitude of price fluctuation between the high point and the low point over the last 10 years. In our selections, we established this maximum threshold at – 38 %.
We then selected the three most profitable stocks according to their dividends smoothed over five years, taking into account their 2026 dividend, and retaining stocks whose market prices have been rising since the start of 2026.
