1 November 2026

Iran discusses the possibility of revising its nuclear doctrine if war with the United States and Israel is resumed, said on Saturday, the 31st, by Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of the country’s Supreme National Security Council.

According to him, no decision has been made so far, but attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have raised questions about maintaining the current policy.

“When the population sees the enemy attacking nuclear facilities, naturally they wonder why the previous process should continue,” Rezaei stated.

The authority also confirmed having received a letter from the U.S. Vice President, J.D. Vance, but said he has not yet responded.

According to Rezaei, Washington’s tone has changed significantly, which he considers a positive sign. “Their tone has changed completely, a good sign that the Iranian nation has consolidated its victory and its power,” he said.

Rezaei also stated that Iran has tested missiles against aircraft carriers and maintains a strong military presence in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister warned that Israel could attack Turkey and Saudi territory following Iran.
