Iran Promises Ongoing Attacks and Predicts Oil at $200 per Barrel

11 March 2026

DUBAI, 11 March (Reuters) – Iran will move from ‘reciprocal attacks’ after an offensive to ongoing attacks against adversaries, and the U.S. will not be able to control oil prices, said on Wednesday the spokesperson for the headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbiya military command in Tehran.

‘We will not permit even a single liter of oil to reach the U.S., to the Zionists (Israel) and their partners. Any vessel or tanker bound for them will be a legitimate target,’ said Ebrahim Zolfaqari.

‘Prepare for the barrel of oil to reach US$200, because the price of oil depends on regional security, which you have destabilized,’ he added.
