Iran’s Guards Claim to Have Attacked ExxonMobil and Chevron Assets, Targets in the Gulf and Israel

According to the IRGC, the targets included refineries, oil facilities, intelligence centers, as well as Tel Aviv airport and the Israeli government complex

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it attacked, on Tuesday night (the 7th) energy assets linked to ExxonMobil and Chevron in Saudi Arabia, in an offensive that included ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones.

According to a statement sent by the group via Telegram, strategic infrastructures in the Gulf were also hit, such as facilities with significant capacity to produce and export oil and gas, in addition to US military and intelligence targets in Israel and Jordan.

According to the IRGC, the targets included:

  1. Chevron refinery and installations in Ras al-Juaymah, Saudi Arabia, described as a large LNG processing complex and energy supplier to the United States.
  2. ExxonMobil and Dow Chemical petroleum and petrochemical facilities in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
  3. Oil facilities of American companies in Yanbu, on the Red Sea, with a capacity of 250,000 barrels per day.
  4. Oil facilities in Habshan (Dubai–Fujairah link) to bypass the Strait of Hormuz.
  5. ExxonMobil facilities in Ras Laffan, Qatar, with a capacity of 146,000 barrels per day.
  6. Facilities of Bapco in Bahrain, with production of 267,000 barrels per day.
  7. Das Island refinery in the United Arab Emirates, with a capacity of 60,000 barrels per day.
  8. Facilities of oil companies in Fujairah, with storage of 1 million cubic meters.
  9. Al-Ahmadi refinery, in Kuwait, with a capacity of 346,000 barrels per day.
  10. Dolphin Gas Company, in Qatar, exporting 2 billion cubic feet per day.
  11. “Zirkuh” oil island, with a capacity of 750,000 barrels per day.
  12. SATORP refinery, with a capacity of 460,000 barrels per day.
  13. Manifa facilities, with a capacity of 900,000 barrels per day.
  14. Technology and advanced industry centers in Beersheba, southern Israel.
  15. Intelligence and listening centers in Tel Aviv.
  16. U.S. Central Command at the Azraq base, in Jordan.
  17. Ben Gurion Airport, in Tel Aviv.
  18. Haifa refinery, with a capacity of 300,000 barrels per day.
  19. Israeli government complex in Jerusalem.
