The Prime Minister of Israel, Binyamin Netanyahu, welcomed the children of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), during a speech at the International Conference on Fight against Antisemitism, held at the Israeli Parliament in Jerusalem.
The brothers posted on Monday, the 26th, excerpts from the prime minister’s remarks. “We have here members of the Brazilian Parliament, including the two brothers, Eduardo and Flávio Bolsonaro. It is very good to see you from Brazil,” Netanyahu said. “There are other parliamentarians here and distinguished guests. I want to welcome all of you.”
In the post, Flávio Bolsonaro thanked the invitation and called the Israeli prime minister a “man of good.” “I am grateful for the invitation to participate in such an important event as this, alongside good people, such as the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu,” he wrote.

Eduardo Bolsonaro has already released another excerpt from the event, with a speech by Israel’s Minister of Diaspora and Combatting Antisemitism, Amichai Chikli. In the speech, the minister mentions the two brothers and, afterwards, wishes Flávio good luck in the presidential race. “We wish you, Flávio, the best of luck in the presidential race,” Chikli stated.
Bolsonaro’s sons participate in the 2nd International Conference on the Fight against Antisemitism, which takes place this Monday, the 26th, and this Tuesday, the 27th, in Jerusalem.
As Estadão reported, the trip’s objective is to reinforce Flávio’s candidacy for the Presidency with international right-wing leaders and to consolidate the senator as his father’s political successor. Flávio was also planning to attend a gala dinner with Netanyahu.
Besides Israel, the senator is set to visit Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, with return to Brazil expected in February. The schedule was organized by his brother, Eduardo. The broadcaster Paulo Figueiredo also participates in the trip.
Figueiredo says the senator should show Israelis that the posture of a possible Bolsonaro 2 government with the country will be the “complete opposite” of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s (PT) administration. The PT president was deemed persona non grata in Israel after he compared the bombardments in Gaza to the Holocaust.
This is Flávio’s second international trip since he announced the intention to run for the Planalto. The first was to the United States. As Coluna do Estadão revealed, the senator sought meetings with high-ranking members of the White House, with whom he planned to take photographs to demonstrate prestige with the Donald Trump administration, but he returned frustrated.
Flávio announced in December that he had been named by his father as Bolsonarismo’s candidate for the Presidency in 2026. Jair Bolsonaro confirmed the choice on Christmas Day, in a handwritten letter. Since then, besides the international trips, the senator has maintained talks with Centrão leadership and with businessmen.
