Capco survey finds robo losing out to relationship factor

A new report published by Capco, a technology and management consultancy, finds that digital innovation should be viewed as an enabler rather than a silver bullet, and that successful wealth managers will be those who keep client relationships at the heart of their thinking.

“Relationship is key, and despite the rush to robo, all experience tells you that you need to employ a great relationship manager,” says Richard Lewis (pictured), partner and UK head of wealth and asset management, Capco. “However, we do think technology has a very important augmentation role in making relationships more effective, scalable and value adding.”
