Discover the 2026 ranking of the world’s 10 wealthiest companies by their cumulative profits over the last 10 years. This selection of stocks could potentially form, after fundamental analysis and taking into account your investor profile, investment opportunities.
Since these stocks are all American or Chinese companies, you cannot invest in these tickers on a PEA (Plan d’Épargne en Actions) due to eligibility criteria. But you will be able to easily position yourself on these stocks, either directly or via derivatives, from one of the best securities accounts offered by one of the top stock brokers.
Why study a company’s profit before investing in the stock market?
The ability of a company to generate profits is important because it is a sign of economic efficiency. This is also the main motivation of private companies.
Note that a stock market investor must also consider other criteria, such as the profitability of their investments, rather than only taking into account the total profits of a company. The investor can then use a ratio such as the P/E ratio (Price Earnings Ratio). This financial ratio, expressed in years, measures the number of years required to reach the stock price.
It is calculated as follows: Stock price / Earnings per Share (EPS).
Thus, a P/E of 15 means that, at the current EPS level (assuming it remains stable), 15 years of EPS would be needed to reach the stock price.
How Café de la Bourse selected the world’s 10 wealthiest companies?
We have aggregated the net results (group share) of publicly traded companies (profits or losses) over the 10-year period from 2016 to 2025.
For reference, a company’s net result corresponds to its revenue and any extraordinary items minus all of its charges minus minority interests.
