The President of the United States, Donald Trump, reaffirmed today his promise to pay a dividend of US$5,000 to each adult in the country in the event of an electoral victory, urging votes for Republicans. Repeating a post he had made on Friday, he pointed on the Truth Social network: “when I say something, I deliver! The $5,000 dividend will happen because the people of our country deserve it. VOTE REPUBLICAN.”
Trump also posted reaffirming criticisms of artificial intelligence (AI) regulation. “With regard to AI, at what point in business history have industry leaders clamored for a regulation that, if implemented rigorously, would lead them to oblivion and bankruptcy?” he questioned.
According to him, Chinese President Xi Jinping “has just announced that the country will do absolutely nothing to create obstacles to AI or its future.”
“Google recently declared that it intends to build a gigantic facility in Finland, all because it regards the licensing process in the United States as excessively difficult. I am not satisfied with that and want them to change their minds. AI and data centers will be the greatest engine of economic development in history – greater than oil, gold, diamonds, or even the Internet,” he stated.
