WASHINGTON, Oct 9 (Reuters) – The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said on Friday that Russia agreed to immediately provide more than 300 thousand tons of diesel to the North American and global markets, after which the Republican described the conversation as a “highly successful” one with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump added that Russia should deliver 3 million tons of diesel in a short period, depending on the capacity of its refineries, and should immediately supply another 500 thousand tons in November and 1 million tons shortly thereafter.
